Both me and my father stick to darker cigars. I prefer Maduro wrappers, my dad prefers corojo/criollo.

He tried an Oliva Connecticut Reserve Robusto this past summer and he said it was surprisingly good. He said it was flavorful and smooth with a perfect burn.

Came out before the Serie V, discontinued shortly after the V came out. Most expensive Oliva to date, I believe.

Took me 8 months to find a single 9x52 Diadema, fortunately found a whole box. 200+ phone calls and someone on a board was nice enough to remember that I was looking for them and found some for me...
Suckers are big. Chop em in half and get 2 cigars for every 1. :) A nice rothschild 4.5"x52 cigar.

Never seen that size before though. Never knew much about the Special S series.

I like the Connie, and I typically dont like connie wrapped sticks.

I havent experienced the bitterness in them.

I have only smoked the Oliva Connecticut Reserve once. I liked it more than you did, although I didn't go bonkers over it either.

On the other hand, I smoked it under less than ideal conditions: outdoors on a really windy day. I figure I'll try another some time and see if I like it better.
