The only Cuban I can think of that has a "non Cuban" profile is a Cazadores, but it's like no other cigar as well.

Maybe I need to start smoking some T52s....

They are both medium/mild, but have the same kind of flavorful sweetness about them.

To me (complexities and nuances aside) they are both rich and strong yet extremely smooth.

BBFs are mellow and refined, while T52's punch you in the face. Sorry, but I don't see that one at all.

Still looking, weird thing is I prefer full bodied NCs like the T52 but expect the CCs I smoke to be more in the medium range. Maybe because the CCs are more flavorful the need for strength is lessened.

Agree! With some age the Summerfest will be the closest thing to a PSDN4 I have had. I had high hopes with the Habana Leon, since that was the intent Pepin had, even down to copying the band, but it's not close. The summerfest is the only one that comes close. That I have had so far. The T52 and a Bolivar Beli Fino? No.

Yeah, don't get me wrong......I think they're still clearly different. But the Summerfest Robusto was the only one that gave me that graham cracker spice that I get every time I smoke a PSD4.

I think how I put it in another forum a day or two after I smoked one.....is it's a PSD4 on roids.


Anyway, I think what Clint is getting at here....is sticks that "MOST CLOSELY" resemble a CC. He's not looking for identical. That's not gonna happen. Pretty sure he get's that, and is just having a little fun.....nothing wrong with that. :dunno:
