A question and some pics of my new humi :D

Traveling J started me thinking about banding my purchases.

I trim these out using a paper cutter but leave the left and right margins intact for larger ring gages. Dry fit the band and trim the excess. Pencil in any information needed or add it to the template and print it out. I use a small jar of pectin to apply the band to the cigar.

I'm not as dilligent as Traveling J but I'll get there some day.

Pm me your addy, I believe I have some blank bands that are self adhesive, and the ink isn't going to affect anything. I would feel fine writting the data letting it dry for a minute and put it on a non-cello'd stick.

LOL! Umm.... yes, I fear that I may have exposed myself for the sweet, young, naive babe in the woods that I am. :rofl: Though now my eyes have been opened to the fact that some of the gentlemen here are more intent on wreaking havoc upon my beautiful new humi and burgeoning attempt at organization, than they are at seeing my inner librarian come out. :nono:

I had been wondering about Stroke's comment, but didn't make the connection until it was laid out for me.



And thank you everyone else for the words of wisdom and great ideas. This sounds like it'll be perfect for satiating my hunger for organization. Maybe I'll even venture out into categorization of some kind too. :yes:

Nice Collection.
I take a peice of a address label and write the date on it and where it came from (BOTL Name or retailer) and stick that to the cello or the band.
