If you don't know this is a major hit to those who follow the pro surfing circuit. 3 times the world champion. He is survived by his wife and unborn child. So Bummed about this.

Yep that's the man. Some of that footage looks like Jeffries Bay and is just sic. The 300 yard right hand double over head stuff in a full suit. That place is ridiculous.

I was completely shocked when I read it yesterday afternoon. Very sad for the family, the friends, and the fans. Unfortunately the Hawaii newspapers are saying this will be investigated as an overdose. Methadone was found on his night stand.
