hello i think all of us remember playing marbles back in the day. well guess it's making a comeback and my nephew asked me for marbles as a birthday gift, but he wants "big marbles" which means shooters and larger. went to the local toy store and they have a assorted nets but no boulders and such. Ive looked on the internet and found

but when you add the cost of shipping they get pretty pricey. so, does anyone know of anywhere else i can find em? and i've already hit up the dollar stores, goodwill and salvation army stores.

not sure where to get the big ones,but there is a national championship every year about 7 miles down the road from me at standing stone state park. they have a large turnout every year...

We used to use what we called a "steely" at the time. Just a big bearing is all it was.

Yeah i've hit them up, only one that carries is toys r us. even checked the variety stores. nada

no real flea markets around here anymore. Used to be one near by that's where i got mine as a kid but it closed up 10 yrs ago.
