Anyone have any recommendations for iPad apps? Of course, any cigar related app recommendations are welcome.

Bloomberg, nytimes editors choice, & huffington post for news. Kindle & ibooks for book downloads. Paper toss, touch hockey, and air guitar to kill time. All freeware, for now. Enjoy!

Dropbox - WiFi file sync/online storage
ReaddleDocs - Document reader, can transfer files using Dropbox
Instapaper - offline document reader; save webpages for later
Flipboard - Social media and content aggregator. Gorgeous interface

For cigars, I have Bento installed on my Mac, and I use a free template called The Cigar Feed Humidor. You can buy Bento for iPad, and sync your data wirelessly. Unfortunately, I haven't found any cigar-related native iPad apps.

Bento is great for keeping track of your collections and keeping inventory. It's like database software for common use.
I'll second that. The two biggest draws are: 1. it's low price ($49.00), and 2. its ease of use. No writing queries, no complicated creating of tables. Of course, that is also its biggest drawback, depending on what you want to do. It is not a high-powered database. It's perfect for home inventory, collections, mailing lists, etc.

Is there a way to lock/password protect an entire screen of app icons? We have 3 iPads that we are using as demo equipment. it seems people keep wanting to go all over the things and end up running into apps we have put on their on our own, and not the demo app.

Any ways to stop prevent that?

Not that I know of. I don't even believe any jailbreak software offers that.

Can you link to the bento template you're using? I couldn't find it. Thanks.

As per my experience Sortshot application for iPad is really amazing!!!! In this application we can add tags and tagging options also include personalized keywords, ratings, favourites, or type of media – photo or video. Tapping on a tag provides instant results so that we can further refine our search with additional tags and keywords.
