A guy flipped me one today at the B&M but it was longer than what is the designated size online and bandless. It was more like a 6x52.

It is 2 years old.

Smoke, save, is this for real?

I thought they were 5.3x52. This was longer and without a band.

He is a great guy and I don't doubt it is what he says.

Maybe they hid the bands when they got them. :dunno:

Thanks,

Jack

Well, if it's this one, it should have a 2nd band. If it's bandless, there's no way to know, but it's NOT 2-years old in this case, as the Grand is a 2010 release.
Odds are the guy who gave it to him has no clue himself exactly what "cuban" that was. :squinteye

Are you referring to the guy who flipped it to me or the guy who sold them to him?

I am pretty solid on my guy's side. His locker is filled with three things: CCs, Padron Anniversary, and a bottle of Blanton's.

I think I have to take some responsibility for this. Since it had no band, it may have "looked bigger" than it actually was. Maybe they are bandless due to the vendor or even him. Not everybody wants to let people know they are flush or get hounded by shlubbs for cubans.

"I will measure his stick and get back to you guys."

THERE, I pitched you a slow softball over the plate. Enjoy. :)

Wouldn't you like to know?
Checked it out, Grand Edmundo! :)
Not if is 2 years old. The earliest I have heard of them landing on the market is in feb at the women in Habanos dinner at the Habanos festival. I am going to have to second the comment that the guy who gave it to you is unsure of what he was giving you. 2 year old Edmundo with no band that just happens to be the same size as the new grand edmundo really makes me question the cigar.

I biffed his thing twice!

It is, in fact, a Monti Edmundo from 2008.

Does that make it a four year old smoke?

He said they are smoking great!
