sgresso's wife posted on his facebook this morning that he was in a wreck on the way to work this morning. Apparently, according to her post, he was swerving to avoid a deer, and struck a pole. He's at the hospital. That's all it says.

Let's keep Steve in our thoughts and prayers!

Dang, if it wasn't for bad luck, he'd have no luck at all.

I hope he's OK. Prayers / good thoughts sent.

Here's the latest from Steve himself....

"I am home from the ER. I will be fine. Just sore for the next few days. I get to go back to work on fri so I have today and tomorrow off. Thank you for the prayers. I am just glad it was not as bad as it could have been."

Glad to hear you are ok my friend!

Glad he's okay! A little serious advice from a military Safety NCO: When faced with the choice of swerving to miss an animal and possibly losing control of your vehicle versus hitting an animal, it's usually best to just hold on tight and hit the animal. Poles, fences, guardrails, bridge abuttments and oncoming lumber trucks can be very unforgiving. And don't forget to buckle up! Hope you feel better soon, sgresso!
