So my 50 qt cooledor (my only cigar storage) is almost completely full now.

I can't decide whether to get another cooler (probably a 150 qt) or to do a fridge-ador. I feel like the fridges are way more work, but that it speculation since I haven't had one.

I know the fridges are nice, but am I going to run out of space quickly with one? I've filled this cooler in about 3 months.

So. What would you do?

I'd personally go with a 28-bottle wine-ador myself....and yes, I'm looking for one for box storage myself!

Go for the gusto Matt! I was thinking about the same thing except for the no more room part. I want to start stocking up on my own ammunition so I too can snipe with the best of them. If your going to be smoking for a while and you really enjoy it the time spent on preparing the coolidor is well worth it.

If you need a cooling unit because your place gets too hot in the Summer, then yes get a wine fridge. If you don't need a cooling unit, why spend the money? Obviously a wine fridge looks nicer so it's up to you what factors go into your storage needs.

I own two wine fridges and they are not any more "work" compared to any other storage unit including my cooler.

get the wine cooler. its hardly any work at all to setup and to upkeep. it only gets difficult when you start doing custom modifications like some of the guys here. get the cooler and like 2 lbs of beads and you're all set to go.

i've had mine for almost a year now and love the thing. never have to worry about cigars going above 65°, humidity holds, and the tinted mirror finish keeps sunlight out.

Good point about the cooling. My room is upstairs, and it does get pretty warm up there, especially in the summer. I forgot about that aspect.

I think I'll try to pick one of these up after Christmas. Thanks for the opinions everyone. :)

Wine coolers are no more work than any other humi. You do not need to go crazy with customs shelves and drawers right away.
