Capoeira cigars

I have to say I'm surprised there are not more people on here trying these out.

I practically want to buy a box just to give them all away to you guys so you can see what a great cigar these are.

Incredibly rich, dark flavours of coffee and dark chocolate, wrapped around a hearty core of earth with a hint of sweet wood.

They're complex, beautifully constructed, and not too hard on the wallet either.


I know, I must sound like I work for the factory. But seriously, these are amazing sticks.

Has anyone else tried them?

My buddy bought the test flight a while back and loved every single one of them. I haven't tried them yet, but I'm going to pick up a couple to try. It's nice to hear another brother saying good things about them.

I've been looking at all of these blind-buy boxes and what not and now I'm thinking, screw it, I should really get a box of something I've had and know I love.

So...next box purchase...Capoeira.

I also had burn issues with the first one I smoked. So glad I dry boxed the last 15 I've smoked since then, as this is one of THE best cigars I've smoked in the past 15 years.

I reccomend dry boxing...These wrappers are extremely oily and retain a ton of moisture.

It wasn't any moisture problem, though, it was horrid plugs inside the cigar.

They actually felt like rocks. They were solid balls of tobacco, each about the size of a pencil eraser.

And it happened twice during the course of the stick. The first time I had to cut nearly an inch off the cigar to bypass them, and the second time I just gave up.

I was not impressed.

Wow...That's odd, as the consistency of this stick is one of the things I have come to love about it.

Try another...I doubt you'll have any issues.

Dryboxing can help with plugs. Also, buy a poker

I'm an MMA fan as well. Black belt in Jiu-Jitsu, but had to quit due to a bad injury.

I have to admit, though, I'd never heard of capoeira until the cigar. So it opened that up for me, too!

I've been trying to convince the powers that be to add an MMA and/or Capoeira exhibition to Cigar Expo. We came close with the boxing match that got rained out in '09 but things look much more promising for next year.
