Would you go with smaller box count and more age? This is like the davinci code for someone like me! I am trying to help a friend and it's tough!


Btw, this place also had a box of Boli GMs from 2007. Should my friend jump on that?

go for the 09s IMO...you could smoke 45 of them over the next year and have 2 years on the last 30. And you will be in the same place. Just my .02...but I also do not mind young tobacco...think it has its own great qualities.

I should have been more clear. WHICH 09 or 08 box should I go for?

Since no one knows the factory codes all the AGO 09 are the same. Price would usually guild me vs the box size. Second would be the more aged, in this case the 15 ct from FEB 08 would be my first choice.

Boli GM no reason to jump on those unless they really like them. Kinda pricey for more a novelty item and are readily available.

The ones from Jun 08 should be good to smoke and age for later. The boli gm are hit and miss. I'd rather have the immensia or pc if your looking for something in that approx rg.

THe Montes are good to smoke now. Won't be much difference in regards to flavor / taste, they are a year apart. Not enough age to even consider in regards to buying one over the other.

The BGM are too young. They need at least a couple years more.

Now if I am correct the 15's won't be boxes, as far as I know Edmundo's come in 25 or 10 ct boxes the 15's will be 5x3's. I have no issues with cardboard but my choice would be a box.
I don't think a year is enough age for me to choose cardboard over wood.
