Pa,
I wish we could have got something like that added when they banned indoor smoking in Washington.
So You can't smoke inside at your b&m? That's ridiculous. Who are they protecting? All the people who go and are allergic to smoke?

Ah, America, land of the free with choices for all. Unless those choices involve sexual orientation, race, firearms, speech, or good ol fashioned tobacco. Before you know it they wont want you smoking in the comfort of your own home. Please, please government just assign me a uniform to make life more streamlined and safe or something.

Well after all those folks do know what is best for all of us. I'm just hoping our uniform comes with a helmet so I can stop bumping my head on the mirror each morning when I get distracted watching some guy brush his teeth.

Wow , just cant get over how far some people will go just to force a rule or a law . Only for the fact that it in no way has anything to do with them. Other than they just dont like it.

Grants in SF didn't have to deal with THAT issue but they DO have upstairs tenants who complained enough so that smoking hours were from 5-7 PM on weekdays and all day saturdays and sundays.

THen Grants changed their policy forcing customers to buy $15 AND now only 4-5 people can sit in the lounge where as before there would be like 10 of us on any given day.

It's ridiculous quiet frankly what those in power are willing to do to protect the majority of people.

I can go to my publisher's house in berkeley and light up a joint and get NO flack. If I spark a cigar...well my publisher will only force me outside but she'll join me. And she won't complain. But yeah, they ARE forcing crap laws on us.

Sampling is how they get around the law in London. The first shop I went to had a sign that said smoking is prohibited so I passed and went to a second. Same sign. Then you read the small print. Except to sample. I was sampling all day at one shop.
