Well I got it because one of my biotech professors knew I brewed at home. Then he mentioned working with the brewery to do some testing and set up an internship. So with my interest we started pushing forward. I think the other thing that helped is the one bar tender I spend lunch with on Thursdays. She used to work for them and put in a good word for me.
Too bad I cant grow crazy facial hair. That might be bad for doing different agar based plates for contamination testing though.
The brewery isn't Yeungling it's
Appalachian Brewing which is much smaller than Yeungling and they make a ton of different beers.
