Just finished watching Blood Into Wine, a documentary about Maynard James Keenan (Tool; Perfect Circle) making wine in Arizona. I can't help but wonder if there will be a collaboration between Caduceus and Tatuaje.

Hell yes! Some sort of vintage collaboration. A year's crop from both sides grown to compliment each other's product profiles.

Curious. Have other cigar/wine producers done something like this before? Co-release a product grown specifically to compliment the other product?

I'm no Pete Johnson, but i would do something like the Verite single farm/crop concept, paired with a bottle of wine. With a suggestion to age X number of years, then enjoy.

There is the Opus X Forbidden X in a bottle. Not sure what is in the bottle though.

I don't know the first thing about growing tobacco or grapes but I assume its risky dedicating an area of either farm or vineyard to a single project such as the one we're dreaming up here. I'm also not a business person but I assume you'd have to make over your operating cost including potential losses for the project to be worthwhile. Still, I think it's a cool idea and would be interested in seeing somebody pull something like this off. If Maynard and Pete happen to be those somebodies, even better.

Is somebodies even a word?

lol, just fortunate to know people who know people. Maybe I will I put a bug in his ear to put into her ear, as I believe he is a cigar smoker also.
There is a scene towards the end where Maynard, his partner Eric Glomski, and James Suckling are all lounging around drinking wine and smoking cigars.
