Hahaha, I take it usually doesn't get that cold there? Yeah our coldest times of the year are usually January and February. But we do get loads of lake effect snow.

After last week and earlier this week, it feels like spring here, with wind chill about 30-30 degrees, was hovering between 0 and 10 degrees just a few days ago.
The snow has provided some insulation.

Weird start to the cold season for sure most of the country. Wednesday northern part of Maine was warmer than Orlando, Florida by over 10 degrees. That almost never happens.

Maryland (as was most of east coast) was warmer than average every month March thru November. Then December hits and is about 10-15 below average. Toss in the high winds, little bit of snow and feels much colder than it should be. Least we are not getting feet of snow like last year.
