Might wanna check your credit cards boys! got a call from capital one today, 2 transactions for over $750 ea were purchased on my card without my knowledge. Seems like shnoop.com is purchasing using customers numbers. Glad i purchased using my capital one card and its being taken care of.

keep a close eye out on your accounts, might even want to contact your card company and have a new number set up. Matter of time before you use it.

How did you determine that it was Shnoop.com? was the transaction from them? I ordered from there also with no issues so far. Thanks for the heads up though.

should be okay with PYPL cause they don't give your number usually. I've used shnoop before and no issues, but I'm checking regularly.

also, this was posted from Thunder.Gerbil on the original thread.

Also, a number of people on another forum who paid shnoop with CC's are reporting seeing all kinds of high dollar fraudulent charges hit their cards. If you paid with CC, probably wise to keep a close eye on the account. Pennywise appears to be the same entity as shnoop, just a different URL & business name, so careful with the CC's

I Read some reviews, and did not see this issue brought up in any of them. Errors occur all the time, your CC company should make this fine right away.

I believe it happened to you and to others. I believe it was a mistake or error that stemmed from a purchase at shnoop.com. I believe it it was a mass error that will affect hundreds of people. I also believe your CC company will make it right almost immediately.

I was just saying this sounds like something that has not happened before, as the reviews for the past 2 years do not mention erroneous charges.

Hmmm.......I can close my card for international billing, for internet billing and if needed we can create a web cc for every time I want to buy something on the internet and use that card once and then it is "gone". Is non of this possible in the us?

maybe ripping people off with misleading information and selling used/refurbished crap as new just isnt getting it done anymore. Their track record is crap, wish i read up on them more i would have passed on the lighters.

Well in their defense (and lord knows they need it) they did say that the lighters were scuffed up and damaged.

I'll blame stupidity over malice and say maybe someone there messed up. How would you run a scam site out of the US (Brooklyn) and not count on being caught?

I ask this every time an elected official gets caught doing something elected officials usually get caught doing.
