I've noticed over the last few days that my cigar intrest has hit a wall. I have found myself getting board while smoking and even not enjoying it so much, even with cigars I normally love. I haven't been doing my usuall web searching or anything really cigar related. Even now as I type I find myself in a "meh" state of mind.
So what gives...Anybody experienced this? It just feel's wierd...I don't like it!

Not to that extreme but I feel like that in the winter sometimes, something not enjoyable about sitting in 0 degree weather freezing your ass off lol... It will pass like the cold.

Take a week or two off brother. If your not enjoying the experience why waste a good smoke? Take a break and when you have the craving again light one up!

Is it just cigars, or are you feeling that way about anything else you normally enjoy? A lot of people feel varying degrees of depression right after Christmas, and loss of interest in things you usually enjoy is one of the first symptoms people notice.

It happens..I find myself standing back and saying "why do I spend all this time and money on cigars"...then I stop for a few days..then I order more. Whatever makes you happy do it.

You are having a rare moment of clarity and lucidity about your hobby.

It will pass.

I have a Man Cave...Very nice, so that's not it.

I have the craving but it only last for about 15 minutes.

God I hope so!

Nope, just the cigars...everything else is okay I think.

Just quit smoking and send me your man cave in a giant flat rate! It has been cold lately, and I could use an inside spot to smoke!

I been on and off that boat for a long, long time. Still wonder if this is the right thing to do. One hand love the brotherhood of BOTL, gifting, bombing, collecting side of things. The other knows its not healthy to do. Can hardly find a place indoors to relax and enjoy a cigar. Collecting or buying the latest thing or stocking what I like gets very expensive. Your feeling are normal brother.

Happens to me once or twice a year. Some time off to rest your palate usually does the trick. If you like, you can send me your cigars and I'll let you know how much you enjoyed them.

This has happened to me a few times in the past and from what others have posted it's not uncommon. The first time it happened all the cigars I smoked pretty much tasted the same and that wasn't very good taste to begin with. I found going 3 weeks without a cigar cured that. The other times I had sinus issues and I everything tasted bland and I didn't get over that one for a couple of months. Luckily I mentioned my sinus issue to one of the people at the cigar louge I frequent and they advised me to switch over to a different brand of sinus relief. A few days later cigars were smoking good again.

Tom, I smoked 3 good cigars yesterday and felt like it was a struggle to get to the 1/2 point of each till the last one. Unbelievable. I end to nub pretty low.

Two days oughta take care of my situation. That said, we are always better of listening to the body and mind. Like others have said, a few days off does the trick.

I'm in the exact same boat Tom. I'm blaming it on the winter blahs. Haven't had a cigar in a couple weeks, nor the desire to do so.

I'm sure it will pass.
