Opus X Lost City...

I always was told that the red label Lost City (Lancero and Love Affair) were not made with the Lost City tobacco. I never had heard that it was a factory screw up. Never saw black label Lost City lanceros last year.

Last year there were lanceros in the humidor package and lanceros in the 10-count box format. The humidor package lanceros had red labels while the box lanceros had black bands. Very confusing.

I really liked the perfecto that was only available in the humidor.

Yeah, the New Perfecto is awesome (same size as the Hemingway Classic).

I love these things. Way overpriced, but an almost perfect cigar to me. I love everything about them (except the price!).

I totally agree. They are high priced but to me very smooth and very tasty. I'd put it up there with the padron 80th maduro. Now I love opus X's and all but the lost city to me is just a smoother, creamier experience. I am a bit bummed though, I mean I bought two boxes of toro's last year because I thought these would be a one time shot now they are out again!! Makes me wonder if they'll be out next year and the year after that. Now if only some Tat's were done this way.. :guitar:

Smoked a Lost City Toro last night to ring in the New Year......and man, what a damn fine smoke that was. It was my first experience w/ any Lost City, and I can say it was much different than any Opus i've ever had. Had some really nice sweetness to it, and to say it was smooth would be a major understatement.

Very impressed w/ this stick, and moreso than I was expecting....even given the price tag.

Different flavor profile but up there with the 45. The 46 is unimpressive in my opinion and these blow it away.

Maybe this is just me but I smoked a Double Tore today and didn't even finish it. I might have threw it out sooner but it was hard cuz of the price tag. I wanted to do a trial run me and a buddy were gonna split 2 boxes a lanc an a DT. Glad I tried 1 first. I know it could have to do with a lot of things. For the price it had a flakey ash and did and wasn't even close as good as the regular line not even close IMHO. Maybe I have bad luck and his is worse. It was my friends 2nd try on a Lost City and my first. I can get a box of PAM 45th for almost $100 less about 20 a stick and I could smoke them all day every day. I'm actually waiting on a box to come in as I type.
