The boxes are solid silver. Yes, that's right. No word on if the cigars will be packaged in glass from broken Fabergé eggs, but last year Farkas' said the Satori was a no expense spared cigar, Hansotia is putting him to shame. I'm not sure if you get a body guard and for how long or what the effect of high humidity would be on the silver long term.

At $5,000 a cigar it's seven times more expensive than the Gurkha His Majesty Reserve (previously holding that crown) and eleven times more expensive than the MSRP on the original Behike.

Okay... so now we are going to need a couple of charity auctions so Brooks can smoke his second Gurkha.

I doubt it. I think they make these cigars just for the publicity. They get a bunch of free advertising in cigar magazines, in the non-cigar media, and on forums like this. Then they get to call themselves the "Rolls Royce of Cigars." If anyone buys these cigars, that's just a bonus. In a year or two, they'll dump these cigars (or cigars with the same name) on cigarbid for $100 each, and everyone who buys one will be thrilled at what a great deal they got. (Unless they smoke it, that is.)

You know that really expensive coffee that meer cats are fed, festers in their bowels, then they poop it out so you can brew the coffee later. Well that is how ghurka cigars are made which is why they are so expensive...this new batch of tobacco is continuously fed to the cat (house cat) for 1 month..then the poo collector must sift through the poo to get only the finest ghurka tobacco..you gotta pay the poo collectors fee kids.

p.s. I think Raja is the cat that poos them out.

I was holding off on buying that box of vintage Dom P's - and it's a good thing, now I can spend that money on a Gurkha!
