It came out on streaming Netflix 01/01 and being a guy is made for us. It is intense, blood, guts, tits, and ass. What else could you ask for?


The new season (6 part prequel) starts Jan 21 on Starz. Spartacus: Gods of the Arena.

Yeah I watch it, but have to cover my eyes at some of the gay stuff in it. I understand it is a loose portrayal of history, but I don't need to watch that part of it. Outside of that, there is a bunch of good fight scenes, Tits and lady ass abound, a bit too many many man butts. It is filmed in a way that is similar to 300.

This show is what the Captain in the original Airplane movie was referring to when he asked the kid, "have you ever seen a grown man naked?" "do you like movies about gladiators?"

I'm halfway through the season and am enjoying it ... glad it settled into a decent rhythm after the first episode.

Also glad that the next season is going to be a pre-story to Sparticus, as he's easily the weakest character in the show. lol

Watched all season one, the star of the show was diagnosed with Hodgkin's and had to undergo treatment so season two is really a prequel without him. He's fine now.

I talked about this before an another forum.

I loved 300 and looked forward to this. But it clearly is just a rip off of 300. Story isn't nearly as good. Same style of directing for fight scenes. They just go over the top some times with all the swearing and nudity.

Too cliche now.
