Photo Editing Software?

I sell stuff on eBay occasionally and I'd like to make it more of a hobby, i.e. buying things in bulk/lots or mystery boxes and selling them. Not looking to make a fortune, just a little extra. Anyway, I'd like to take photos of the items and be able to edit the background, etc. Nothing fancy, just simple. For example, below is a pic I've taken of a Garmin I'd like to sell, and another of one with a blank background. I'd like to make blank backgrounds, etc. Anyone know of decent and relatively inexpensive (or free!) photo editing software I could use? Thanks!

Take a look at GIMP.

Picasa's free. Even if the editor doesn't quite do it for you, the organizer will likely make it worth the effort

For sure. My girlfriend bought me a few light boxes several years back. We enjoy both of them, they make things a lot easier.

How much do you want for the Garmin?

It should sell for about $50, and I'd be pleased with that.
