Iphone coming to Verizon

Verizon is supposed to make a big announcement this morning around 11:00. It's expected to be the announcement that makes that official. Before you go run out and buy it, I'd wait. Second quarter is always a big quarter for new phone releases. Wait and see what comes out first.

I loved my DROID when it came out, but now am sick of it.....I'll be getting an i4.

I don't think they are anything special. I think its funny that some people buy it just because it's an I-Phone. I actually know people who don't even wait for the upgrade and pay full price on it. At this point all smart phones are just as good. On the other hand if you are use to Mac's and don't use PC's the the I-Phone might be better for you I guess.
I'm still waiting on the I-Cigar release.
Love the Droid x. hell you cant even remove the battery from the iphone. apple will not replace a battery for free. you have to send the phone in to apple and then pay to have them replace it. and you do not get your iphone back. This is what I was told when I called on an iphone here at work. the phone was only 3 months old. I will never spend my money on these peices of crap.
Gonna stick to the Droid X, gotta wait at least year and half before I get an upgrade allowance from Verizon. This thing already does 10X what I need it to do and I need more money to pay for cigars.
I would be careful jumping at the iPhone the minute it comes out, especially if it is not "4G Capable". No doubt in my mind there will be an updated version out later this year. You are never going to not end up seeing a newer/better version come out after you get a phone, but no reason to buy at the tail end of a version.

2/10/11 is the general order date. $200 for 16G and $300 for 32G. Looks like Verizion is going to allow the tethering thing, wonder if they'll charge for it like AT&T does.

If it was 3 months old you probably have a software issue, not hardware. Rarely do batteries go bad in under a year.
