Cigar Of The Month Clubs

Anyone here a member of any Cigar of the Month clubs? If so, which ones? Do you think its worth it? I know of the CI and cigar.com clubs, any others?

Not at the stage of buying for me would I join a club. When first started maybe CI. I suggest steer clear of Thompsons.

Solid advice, most of these cigar of the month clubs get their stock from Altidas which distributes/mass produces cigars that are cheap and of poor quality, I would really take what twenty5 said into consideration.

I agree. Did for a while when i started but it didnt last long.

i've always wondered which cigars they threw in these samplers. Does anyone know which specific cigars they included?

I've not seen a cigar of the month club that was worth it.

Just stay away from them, no need to answer the question what is in there. Different sites offer different cigars. They are not worth the money is the answer. Kinda like a movie, if you know the movie will suck why pay the price of the ticket?

Must say that I've seriously considered joining Empire's. Haven't been there in about a year; but while there, Dave was packing that month's shipment. I was impressed by the selection, care and new releases included. Looking over previous month's picks, I thought it was a decent opportunity to get exposed to cigars I might not otherwise try. Still might do it. In fact, I'm going to do it now....thanks for reminding me
