Cohiba 1966 - the 45th Anniversary of the brand
Next year celebrates the famous Cuban Cohiba brand cigars their 45th Anniversary, so of course is also a new "Jubläums-Havana" in preparation. In recent months, several were already in circulation information, for Cohiba cigars are in great demand worldwide anniversary.
In 1996, on the occasion of the 30th Mark anniversary a humidor with 50 Robusto Especiales presented in an edition of 45 boxes. The price of a box at the time was around 19,000 € (37500th - DM) - a sporty course, especially at that time. Of the 45 Humidor which only a few fully preserved.
End of 2001 was the 35th Jubilee offered a brand of humidifer crafted in Spain with 135 Sonderhumidor Cohiba cigars of different formats. The price for this humidor was around 6000 €.
Then, in 2006 and the 40th Mark anniversary Habanos SA presented at a spectacular gala at the Behike Havana Humidor, a magnificent humidor made of black and white ray skin (made by Elie Bleu) and filled with 40 of the now legendary Behike. For one of only 100 humidors rejected the current price tag of 15,000 €. Connoisseurs who want to buy such a box today must take into account, however, a substantial premium to that price.
What will now be presented in 2011 in Havana is the Cohiba in 1966, named after the "birth year" of the brand. The exact dimensions and type of presentation is not confirmed yet.
