So does this really help maintain humidity.

I've noticed that when i dig a cigar from the bottom of my 100 ct humi it seems to be a little wet. my Hygrometer reads 68% and cigars smoke how i like em but guess the humidity at the bottom probably a bit higher. I know some people here rotate thier cigars to help avoid this. while searching for a solution i came across this and wondered if it would help fix my problem? any other suggestions?

It doesn't really "circulate" anything...Just lifts the cigars up a bit.

I guess if you imagine the higher humidity as a sort of pool at the bottom of your humi, the question is: Does this added rise get the bottom layer cigars completely OUT of that pool?

This would potentially help is the humidity is condensing into a liquid... Otherwise those grates usually are used as a sort of "crumb catcher" device. If big enough, and you're getting uneven rh% in different parts of the humidor, consider getting a Glade battery powered fan (the kind that automatically turns on every so often). That will move the air (and humidity with it) around the humidor to prevent pockets like you are referring to.

If your humi is pretty full then these grates probably won't help much. Also my guess is that in a small humi you don't have much room for a fan. I would suggest two things: rotate your cigars and start the process to get a bigger humidor/tupperdor/coolerdor.

Once you have more space you can add the grates to your 100 count humidor if you want to add some airflow.

I added a couple of strips of cedar from old cigar boxes on the bottom of my cooler to just lift the boxes up a bit. Not sure if it helps anything, I just think its better to have them off the bottom, I figure it like a flood in a basement, if everything goes wrong and you get some moisture at the bottom, wouldnt it be nice if the cigars were raised up a 1/4"?

I don't think it will do anything re: the RH situation. I agree with what has been posted: rotate cigars in a smaller humidor, and/or put a fan in a larger one.

That's what i was thinking, also thought that i could probably put a small layer of beads underneath to help absorb that extra moisture.

It doesn't give dimensions, so make sure it will fit. Not sure it will cure the problem you are having
it says its 12x8 which is just the right fit for the humi i have.

Guess i should just start getting into the habit of rotating my sticks. Odd that i do this for my small humi but just saw it as more of a hassle for my larger one.
