Swapped the green stock parts for black today. Still have the green ones incase I don't like the black afterall. Added the handle mounted rail, rings, and a red-dot scope.

I can still use the iron sights too with this rail mount.

I like the green parts, pretty balanced looking with the black.
I'm a big fan of flat tops, with quad rail, low sights etc... but this one caught my eye.

Is the mount hollow or something? Maybe C-shaped? It almost looks like the mounts I'm used to seeing the way it is attached, but those mounts don't allow use of the irons sights.

Looks great. Very old-school M4-ish.

The mount is hollow and still have full function of the old irons. I was weiry of using a mount, but this one lets me use either or.

The next full day I have off I will get to shoot it.

It may be a while, because I had to leave work early today to be with my Dad in the hospital. He has most of his lower back fuzed together... he slipped on some ice a week ago and basically busted his ass. He didn't do anything about it and now it hurt him so bad, he could feel his feet nor walk. Hemay have pinched or moved a nerve.

He is going to his bone/back specialist here soon to get a better diagnosis. The Er found no broken bones or blood clots...
