eehhemm...more to the point. Has anybody heard or read when Pete plans on getting this thing up and running. The articles talk about it, which we all know, but ther is no mention of an actual date when S&S will be running. Cost will be $150 so I wouldn't mind a heads up so I have the cash when it's time.

At the Drac/Boris event last year I had told Pete about setting up a fan club for a yearly fee and he offer swag/cigars and insider stuff. I compared it to Dave Matthews and U2 fan club that I am in. Each year you get swag and access to tickets before the rest of the masses. Oh yeah, Brooks was there and he liked the idea also, but he follows me everywhere and likes what I suggest :grinFU:

I believe he's in Estelli finalizing the details on La Casita Criolla & Fausto right now, so that's prob his #1 priority right now.

Seems like paying $$ to get first shot at swag and/or product would give an unfair advantage to those who can afford the extra cash.

In this economy, those without that extra expendable income is growing larger each day.

I have always thought that this way of thinking would run against what Pete and his vision are all about.

Just my 2 cents.

If it works out the way it was posted earlier in the thread, it will be 150/yr for 15 sticks and some swag + the chance to buy additional stuff. You dont smoke 10$ sticks?

Clint you've got it wrong...it's supposedly what Twenty5 is saying. $150 will get everyone stogies and swag, and then when you're in it, he's going to post LE/hard to find stuff up for sale on the site on a first-come basis...no auction. None of this is finalized yet, though, so things might end up different. He's trying to make it accessible to all.
Also, the economy is getting better. Michigan has been one of the hardest hit and I'm hearing about jobs popping up more and more. Hopefully a rise in gas $ doesn't stall it.

Thanks for the update brother. But one mention. I'm a Michigander and unfortunately in the automotive supply business. Yes, things have picked up and there are jobs popping up, but I hate to think of it being promising or getting out of the woods. There was a lot of jobs and money lost here and even though is seems it's getting better, there is a big hill to climb before it's normal. Let's just hope it goes quickly.
