My question is this...Andre has released different vitolas of the same line before (Holiday Blend, S&B, Exclusivo etc) and never called it something different, so why call this release a different name, if it is just the same blend as a former release?

Does that make sense?

You're definitely right, that makes no logical sense. Why wouldn't they just be another summerfest vitola? But that's assuming another thing...that what Andre does is logical. We could look at it this way...why just release another vitola, when you could release a very limited stick under a brand new name, keep details about it very hush-hush, meanwhile it is just that, another vitola of a current blend. Takes no blending effort on you part (possibly) and builds an even more exclusive aurora for your brand. Not saying that's what he's doing, but it would be smart move. So who knows...all I know is he's got me hook, line, and sinker. Me want! Me a tool :angerhead

I think it will come out that this (as was said before) is BASED on the Summerfest blend, but is not the same, tweeked in some way...(although I have no proof of this, of course)

the way andre described it on facebook about being project sticks released to the public, i just see this as a way to push out more sticks now that there seems to be a pretty high demand for his stuff. He'll have the major releases each year plus all these little WLP fill in's inbetween.

5 Retailers have them, but I imagine most have sold out by now...

The local shop got them in yesterday. They're rationing to get these to as many people as possible...but I didn't pick any up myself. The word about these (blend and vitola) had been in the pipeline for a couple of months now. I've smoked a couple of the SF Robo's lately just to remind myself of the flavor.

Summerfest yes, but we tweaked the blend so it would be quite different in the CG. Don't expect the same cigar. This is WLP's purpose. Blends, shapes, etc. that would never get released will be available under this label. We will also be listening to your ideas. If we hear something suggested that might make a good cigar you might see it released under WLP.

Im interested to try one or two out just because I didnt really enjoy the summerfest, id like to see just how different the WLP is. More than likely though I cant see it being that much different just by a small tweak in the blend and a new size but you never know.

Is it only limited to those shops ? I have a local B&M that has a decent Viaje selection. I wonder if they are on the 'extended' distribution list.

Yeah only 5 shops & you won't see them up for sale to everyone on some of their websites either. Had to be on top of things get some.

I ended up picking up a couple of these after all. I just had to try em. I'll let you have the honor of posting the first pics. I'll probably wait till tonight or at least until after I take a nap (just got in from snowshoeing) to lite one up. They look and smell great. :thumbsup:
