Sad to say I've never had either. I've always been intrigued by the Kristoffs shaggy foot though.HA! Totally a joke, but still, both Kristoff and Illusione make great cigars. Wouldn't mind seeing a collab.

What would the colab be called? Kristione?
I think this would be cool.
That would be a good idea... them maybe they can reblend the Illusione to have a sumatra.
Don't care for Illusione except the HL Maduro and Cruzado, Epernay, Nosotros. The "regular line" isn't my cup of tea for some reason.
Yeah it was a joke.Sadly never tried a Kristoff, or an Illusione, so I can't comment on this... However, every time I see a post anywherethat says "BREAKING HERE FIRST", I like to immediately take a mental picture of the article, crumple it up, and throw it in my mental waste bin... Lighter fluid and dramatic cigar-nub toss optional but pretty.
It's true... it would be outrageous for one of the smaller companies to fork over 40+Mil for another smallish company...It's a funny joke, but not many if any? Cigar companies could command that kind of money. Made a large company with many brands, but not one brand unless it included lots and lots of land could get that money! The margins in cigars is not that great.
