starting with an H Upmann Mag 48 EL 2009

Here are my "CA-style comments", so called because I'm only 1.5" in...

burn is a little wonky but not bad, draw is slightly firm but acceptable
smoke is a little thin for my preference, ash holds on pretty well
tons of baker's chocolate notes, traditional twang
decent now, but still needs more time - could be a really really good cigar but the influence of the youth (bit of bitterness) is still too prevalent

if I had the cash, I'd buy a box and put it away for two years, forcing myself to forget it is in the humi. the flavor is great... just still too young

tastes burnt. obviously, its on fire. still, notes of burnt coffee, some milk chocolate, charred oak.

draw is slightly loose, burn is very sharp

Joya de Nicagragua Dark Corojo I picked up the other night at the Drew Estate cigar event. I also picked up a split box of LP 9/52 robusto, some JD 4, rats, and a LP wrapped in Connecticut wrapper!
