Very much so. Now the question you must figure out, it what rh do you like to smoke it at. As I mentioned in another thread once cigars have been stored for too long with extreme low humidity most if not all of their essentials oils are gone. With it, their flavor.

I prefer in in the low sixties also. Although I went downstairs and the humidor was at 18. Not good at all (Happy Daryl?)

Does the humidity effect the taste or does it just effect the burn and draw type aspects?
Excellent question. An over humidified cigar can close up making it tight and a slow smoke. A dry cigar as stated can burn hot. Different blends react to different humidity. A cuban cigar smokes better at a lower RH IMHO. I like Oliva V's at about 69 70% and an H Upan Sir Winston at 64%. I used to keep three different humidors for the purpose. Now After expereimenting different shelves in the cab yeild the same results. Trial and error is half the fun.
