Get mine in tuesday. Unfortunately I probably won't smoke one for awhile though. Going on a smoking hiatus for a few months. But gathering some good LE's to have something to look forward to when I go back to herfing. I like to let my cigars sit for awhile generally anyways. Patience,..........Patience,...............patience,....................

I only smoked the torp in the summerfest and wasn't very impressed with it except for the first third of it. I've been telling a lot of people if the cigar was just tweaked a bit and possibly put in a different size and shape this cigar could be amazing.

Does anybody have an opinion on the summerfest robusto. I never got to smoke one, we only had the torps available to us down here in Texas.

I smoked a Summerfest robusto ROTT and it was bland, bland, bland. I do have one left and have some hope that it turned into something better. I am eager to try the WLP - any of these left? Where can I get them?

Had one tonight, very damn good even still a little wet. Can't wait for another month to pass so I can hit em again!
Glad to hear it! I've been wanting to light another one up myself...they've been resting for almost 2 weeks now...but they still feel too soft. I think I'll just be patient, rather than risk wasting one.

Right off the truck I thought the SFR's were one of the better cigars I had smoked. Lots of flavors. I smoked one WLP and wasn't impressed at all. Maybe the other I have sitting will be better?

I completely agree with both points here. Really want to try another WLP to see if I just smoked a bad one...experiences seem to be widely varying.

Thanks to a generous BOTL (Clint) for setting me up with a 5er of these!

Here are the notes I put in my spreadsheet:
Tons of smoke! Burn was slightly uneven, very easy draw, ashed at about 1", ash was unevenly colored… seemed a bit young, slight bit of bitterness but not overpoweringly so… maybe just a bit of time. Very woody cigar, with a strong blend of spices… some sweeter notes on the pepper spectrum like yellow and orange peppers. Somewhat of a medium body.

Just a follow up on this... I posted my first comment at about the 1/3rd to halfway mark... it has improved pretty noticeably as the 2/3rd mark approaches. Pepper picked up a bit, but then joined by a noticeable bit of caramel and graham cracker. The flavor isn't overpowering... kind of like medium in body and medium in flavor. Easily an after lunch or nearly-empty stomach cigar.

I'm thinking this needs some time, but not much. Maybe this is why people are calling them "wet"? Might let them sit a couple months and revisit.

I'm not a big nc smoker anymore but I smoked one of these, and I have to say, these are pretty good. I smoked it till my fingers were burning.

I lit one up last night on 16 days rest. Really thinking the one I smoked after a days rest was a bad stick, because this stick was MUCH, much better. I could really taste the SF flavor profile in it, though still somewhat muted. I can't wait to smoke these again at 6 months and a year. Should be excellent with a little more time on them. I'm once again left wondering if I was a little too generous with & didn't hold onto enough for myself haha...
