I have been thinking about these for awhile now. Is it just me or is this pretty much a 10$ Noble?
Good question, IMHO it is
not just another Noble.
Any small, subtle change in a cigar's blend, the tobacco used, the amount of time that tobacco has been aged, and many other seemingly insignificant variables in a cigar will affect the taste.
As Pete said earlier in the thread, this is based on the Noble, and the wrapper has a higher priming.
You have to consider that this blend may be slightly different than the Noble blend (hence the word 'based'), and the wrapper will add in another difference...Combine these with the fact that even if the same blend
was used to make these, then the tobacco could have been aged longer, cured differently, etc.
Even regular production cigars that use the same blend for years on end will smoke differently from year to year, harvest to harvest, etc.
Many may think it's the same, and each palate is different....But to a seasoned smoker, these will definitely smoke differently.
