As some of you may know, I'm a little OCD... I label all of my cigars, but I've taken it a step further! I now have them all inventoried on an Excel spreadsheet with all of my cigars on it, including all the basics on the label as well as where I got it, when, MSRP, what I purchased it for (always good to know when you got a good deal!), where it's stored, etc. I also have a tab set up to show me how many I have where. Instead of trying to include all the information on the label, I gave each cigar a serial number that corresponds with the tracker. And, I added a little somethin' somethin' on the label. Let me know what you think!

By the way, here's where it all began: http://www.botl.org/community/forums/showthread.php?t=33975

Wouldn't you like to know?
Wow little tiny OCD. Can I put you on retainer to do my cigars the same way? Let me know how many cigars it would cost? Seriously though great system if you can maintain it but I am way too lazy to even think about it

Yeah, no kidding. I had all my cigars inventoried at one point, but let it slide. I just didn't always want to hop on the computer each time I smoked a cigar, and my biggest issue was moving cigars from home storage, locker storage, friends house storage, and travel humi storage.

I would be interested in the spreadsheet if you are willing to share it!

Aaron, the attached file should be sufficient for your collection.

Guessing that was in jest, but just in case: just the cost of shipping the labels, which looks like it'd be about $3. If u sent me a list of all of your cigars I'd inventory them for ya!

I used the Avery Wizard to transfer the info from the tracker to the labels, but I should only have to do that the first time. From now on, I'll just enter them in individually.

On the "Location Totals" tab, simply change the value in row 1 to reflect the amount of cigars in the location you wish, and make sure it's typed the same way is the location on the main tab. I included a black photo of the BOTL logo on the labels sheet in case you're interested, but I chose to save some ink and inverted the colors. Enjoy!

Definately a nice set-up Brian....what I want to know is do you smoke'em at the same time you are labeling them?

Thanks! I have downloaded it and will toy with it in the morning after work. The issues I've had with tracking, and the existing tracking softwares out there, is that I move cigars from location to location fairly regularly. Your sheet actually gives me some ideas on how to pull that off. I'll let you know what I come up with!

Stroke that is very cool! I have a spread sheet that was sent to me form a year ago but I have not found the time to inventory and did not want my sticks exposed to low RH that long. Maybe one day. I love the BOTL on your label.
