I have three PSD4s left from an August '09 box. I smoked one the moment I got the box and found them to be complex, delicious, and all around great smokes; and they've only gotten better over time.

Big, they are horrible, taste, look, and smell nothing like the prior years. literally, green in color and age. I'll give them another 6 mos, something is off with PSD4 2010

The '09 and MAR '10 versions I've had were great. The MAR '10 needed 6 months to sit, but they are smoking GREAT now. Your '09 should be fine. As has been said, light one up and see what you think. If it's not ready, give it another 6 months and try again.

My 09's are harsh, so I'll be smoking my 10's now. My 09's are med brown and my 10's are ppale brown.

Even the exact same code won't be the same, heck within the same box probably won't be the same. Commies suck and manage to screw up even some of the best tobacco in the world.

That said, I'll go with everyone here and say burn one and see what YOU think. But a little age won't hurt.

Just had some JUL 09 PSD4 Tubos land a few days ago that I'm anxious to try. Opted for the Tubos to get the extra year of age....as everything else was 2010 that I saw.

Hoping for good things, but will be as patient as I need to be!

I'll try one next month or so. I just tried a Bolivar Royal Corona 2008 and wow. Pretty smooth and flavourful. Had to butt it out within the first 20 minutes, girlfriend was didn't like the smoke in the car.

I've smoked/given away about half of my box of 09's, every one I've had has been dissappointing. Not touching them again until 2012. Just smoked a MAR10 and it was delicious!

Sorry to hear that they suck. Usually, people say the 2010 is not as good. One thing for sure, 2008 was a great year for Habanos. My Trinidad Reyes and MC#4 have been smoking great.
