Last week Tuesday my cell rings at 8:45am and its the Mrs. Turns out she was involved in a fender bender and is letting me know she's OK but the car is not. No big deal we go through the motions and get a loaner through the ins. co.

I decide to drive the loaner and let her drive my black car. This week Tuesday my cell rings at 2:30pm and its the Mrs. Turns out she has had another accident where someone backed into her(my) car in a parking lot exactly one week to the day of the first accident.

Life can be interesting sometimes!

Speaking of interesting, the Mrs. tells my the first accident was the result of her being unable to break in time. Hmmmmm, interesting thought except for the fact that the car is an AMG and has MASSIVE OVERSIZED 4 - piston calipers with ventilated cross drilled two piece front rotors that will basically stop the car on a dime.
Guess I'm glad nobody was hurt.

Well you do have to hit the brake pedal in order for the car to stop, good brakes or not. If you don't hit the pedal in time, you won't be able to stop before hitting the next car.

I left work early to pick up the car the Mrs. damaged and the repair came out better then expected.

Think I'll be driving it for a bit and let the Mrs. deal with fixing the other car. Plus she's always complained the car is too much for her to handle.

It looks like a family crusier but it has a 5.4L V8 putting out 351hp and 391 foot pounds of torque. Needless to say its fun to drive.

Oh...btw...she's still in the doghouse. More leverage to up my cigar budget!!!:stickbeat
