Not much of a purchase per say but my wife and I corked up 24 bottles of Pinot Grigio tonight. Only 24 instead of the kit's claimed 30 because it was my first kit and lost/wasted some vino during a transfer to a carboy that was too small.
very exciting! sounds like a good learning process!

My friend got me the doublewood as a gift a few years back and I loved it. I haven't really had many of the others.Yes, I likes me The Balvenie.
The Caribbean Cask isn't quite as smooth and rich as the RumCask. The RumCask is also a little sweeter with more fruit.
But the Caribbean is significantly less expensive and easier to find.
So freakin jealous!! They don't sell it here and it's our favorite! Last time we had some was when I went back to Chico for my Grandmother's funeral in 06. I grabbed a couple cases and we made it last a long time. I need to call my BIL in Chico and see if he'll ship me some!I picked up a case of 2011 SN Bigfoot Barleywine, to put to sleep for awhile!
