My name is Ronald, and I am a Marine Corps veteran. I spent two tours in Iraq once in 2004 for 6 months and once in 2006 for a year. I have been smoking cigars since 2006 when I lit up my first (maybe fake maybe real) Choiba while in Iraq. On one of the bases we were station at they had a haji shop that was selling all kinds of stuff and in the front they had some cigars. My buddy just found out that his girl back home had his baby and we decided to smoke a cigar to celebrate. I have been hooked ever since. Since then I have upgraded to storing my cigars in a freezer bag to now having a 2,000 count cabinet humidor. I know most people love their B&M stores but I don’t have a truly good selection close to me so I do most of if not all my shopping from Tim at cigar.com. Have been doing so since 2006. I separated from the Marines with an honorable discharge and work on computer networks for a local company in Louisiana. I started supporting the CRA in 2010 and became a CRA ambassador for my state. I am glad I found this site because I am able to keep up with everything new and just talk to people that enjoy cigars as much as I do. I currently hold a Herf once a month around my house with 6 of my friends from high school. They never smoked cigars until I came home and told them we were going to start a Herf. Now they all have a small humidor and are really getting into cigars. Well that is about all I can think of and I plan to post some pictures soon of my setup. Later brothers.
