As I stated, I am very much involved in this fight as I do not want our rights to be trampled upon by the misinformed when it comes to Smoker's Rights. I am sharing this for any of the folks on here who happen to live in Oregon.

Ah, smoking is not good for you, and it's been deemed that anything not good for you is bad; hence, illegal. Alcohol, caffeine, contact sports, meat...

You know, when I first saw the movie Demolition Man, I thought it was just a bad movie. I didn't realize it was a damn documentary... :argh:

Although, I always liked this line:

We even have smoking bans in the parks and disc golf courses in Oregon.


Needless to say, in October I'm moving to Colorado.


Fuck this place. Seriously, I've been ticketed for smoking a stogie while playing golf.

I told the "park ranger" sure, write me a summons, but you can have my stogie when your man enough to pull it out of my mouth.

He didn't try.

Oh, that is just one of the reasons I'm leaving the "Florida of the PNW".

I guess when it comes down to it, I'm willing to go to jail for my stogies. I will not pay your fines, I will not relent. I will not bow to stupid laws that are enacted to create revenue, and I will not stop smoking outdoors.

I WILL stand up for my rights as a American in the pursuit of happiness.

Looking at the Lafayette area actually. Either that, or I'm going to Germany. My job has positions in both places. Plus, my wife is German.
