Many will say I'm crazy or have an amateur palate or am just a plain fool, but I've smoked many a cigar--Tatuajes, Padrons, AF Hemingways, Pepins, RP's, and others--but my favorites are Cuban Crafters sticks. The Don Kiki Red label, Cameroon, JL Salazar, and La Carolinas are hands down my favorites of them all. One thing that's clear--everyone has a personal preference, and it's all about what YOU like. The good thing for me is, those CC sticks are CHEAP. Especially when you buy the ones you like that are offerered in their e-mail specials.

Just sayin'.

Fool! Jk man. Glad to hear you found the cigar that suits you and the fact that they are easy on the wallet is icing on the cake.

I'd never knock a man who favors the cheap stuff... I can honestly say that I get more enjoyment out of NUB cigars, and the 5 Vegas lines, along with Diesel Unholy Cocktails, than I've gotten out of the vast majority of the higher end things I've tried (This doesn't include the Padron Anniversary Maduro, 46 that I had last week. That was Amazing.)

I've never had any of the Cuban Crafters you mentioned, but I hear what you're saying about preference. The John Bulls I paid $1.50 for are one of my current favorites...

Have at it bro. It's what you like. I am sure every one of us can say there are certain high end cigars that we don't like, and we all have one or a few lesser big names that we enjoy. You don't need to like every smoke, you just need to smoke what you like.

Cuban Crafters makes some fine cigars.
I have purchased boxes of J.L.Salazar, Medina 1959, La Carolina & Cupido over the last year. I have enjoyed everyone of them. Some of the best cigars I've ever smoked have come from "small independant" manufacturers.
I often search for small producers, some are good, some are bad. But that is the thrill of the chase.

Brother man, different smokes for different folks. What a lot of people forget is palates are different for everyone. I say, smoke what you like, try new stuff and keep an open mind. It's all about cigars, brotherhood and creating lasting memories.

I haven't tried enough of them to know - I've had a Don Kiki & it was barely alright - didn't care to repeat the experience & had a few Cuban Crafters that made me want to gag, so I haven't bothered to 'explore' the rest of their products. To each his own!
