need box help

I have wedding to go to in June. Wanna bring a box but not sure what, my budget is around a hundred bucks. Looking for a reccomendation on a robusto, maybe even a kick ass petite robusto at that price. Im going to compare the 2 Ambos Mundos this weekend, I MAY have a place togo to get them within my budget. So, whats out there that I should try? Id like to keep them in my cooli for a month before.

How large a count are you looking for? I'm pretty darn partial to Hemingway Best Sellers and you can get a box for about $115 if you shop around.

Brickhouse makes some good affordable sticks and the Oliva V lanceros are a killer deal.

I second the PDR Sungrown's. If you prefer a stronger cigar, go with the Oscuro's. Just had one today and it was pretty darned tasty.

Well these may not be for you then......but the Jamie IMO is more to the medium range than the Le Bijou is.

But if experienced smokers won't be partaking...go with something like a Tabacos Baez. Can be had on the cheap now, and are a very good stick for the price.

i can say that the AF gran reserva rosado is off the list. didnt care for it. onto the ambos mundos...

If non-experienced smokers partaking, you may want to consider mild-medium strength but still good flavor else a lotta folk may end up feeling queasy or worse especially if a lot of libations are involved.

Broke out a box of fuente chateau maduro rothschilds that passed muster in one such event. Another guy shared some of his bolivars. Those 'lucky' newbs who partook in the cc's didn't fare so well... :crying:

For a wedding you have abunch of beginners. Romeo y Julieta Bully (robusto). $80.00 for a box of 25. Everyone will recognize the brand. Everyone but the seasoned smokers will light up and love them. When they put them out half way you don't have to cry. Did this at my daughters wedding plus a box of PSD#4's I kept well hidden for the true smokers.

Perdomo Gran Cru is a very good medium bodied stick and can be found for well under 100 bucks.
