Mostly at my local B&M's, it might cost more but I want to do my part to make sure I have a place to smoke.

I agree biggie, Cigar Pointe is great. They sell a TON of great cigars that I cant find anywhere else, including good prices on DPG's and PDR's. I use the military discount there. The owners are friendly and I like knowing I am supporting a family business. I still have to go online to find my Man O' Wars though, no B&M around here sells them.

I wish there was a good B&M near where I live. I would go out of my way to support them. As it is, my local sources are a Tinder Box which lost tons of credibility recently (after I had just bought some Padron 46) when he said Tatuaje was a dying brand . Two other places cater to the "red neck" machine made / infused crowd. The last place has ton's of potential, but the owner hasn't really decide what he want his store to become (Cuban art or clothes and accessories). The point is that the owner is not really making cigars part of his core business and so that part of it suffers. Cigar wise, he carries some CAO and RP , but nothing really mid high to high end.

Being that I am an avid supporter of my local B&M's which for the most part offer free lounges as well as as brothers in arms in the fight to protect our rights (and their profits) to enjoy cigars so I try and buy there. I like the fact of being able to touch what I am buying and allows me F2F interaction with knowledgeable and likable people. Not to mention the occasional comp stick or two...

Now for the occasional HTF I might seek out one but, with the exception of a CC, I refuse anymore to get caught up in the hype cycle. We have been blessed in my area of California to have access through places like Tower (thanks Mark), West Coast and Mission Pipe, to a great selection of sticks.

Furthermore, there is a sign in one of the shops in Brentwood which says, "Feel free to smoke your online cigars in your online lounge."

I'll just say this again because I think it's important enough to repeat...

We have some great sponsors in our Retailers section, that deliver some of the best customer service in the biz.

Check them out :)

Unfortunately mostly online (hard to beat the prices), but I do try and support my local (semi-local) b&m when I can.

I stop in the local B&M to buy a few singles at least once a week. 5ers on Monster & boxes where ever the best deal is on line. I'm a sucker for free shipping.

B&M almost exclusively. I will buy from an online retailer only if I know them, or enough about them, to feel comfortable with their storage conditions.

I buy online mostly. (Including Cigar Auctioneer, AB!)

I visit my local B&Ms about once a month for some singles.
