Any of you guys like these? I haven't had one in a few years. Was just gifted a Duque (??) which I was told is cognac and a Maker's Mark cigar (Bourbon). I will smoke them since they were both gifts and I want to be truthful when I tell the gifter I smoked them (however I will lie about liking them if they suck lol). Just wondering if any of you guys still enjoy these from time to time.

On a sidenote my mom gifted me the Makers Mark cigar along with a Casa Fuente...so she's at least batting .500.

I infuse some of my "yard" cigars for something different. These are my $3-4 sticks that I don't care if they get knocked around when I'm working in the yard.

I lightly wipe them down w/ my fav bourbon and then leave them in a sealed container for a few days to let them take in some extra.

They're not great, but not bad either.

I know Craig, it's crazy, but its something different. :)

I had a couple cognac smokes when I first got into smoking, right before I discovered real cigars. At the time, I thought they were good. Never revisited them though

This is, unfortunately, the cure of letting family and friends know you love cigars when they know nothing about them.

Since I've taken up the hobby, I can't tell you the number of times I've been gifted fruit-flavoured cigars, fake CC's, packs of Black & Mild's or Captain Black's.

It's always prefaced with a "I know how much you love cigars, and these looked really neat!" statement.
