Honestly get yourself a sampler... only way to know. Brown labels are going to be peppery, the reds peppery and creamy, smooth and creamy your best bet is the cabaiguan connecticut. But really, try them all!

Thanks! Had the Cabaiguan a few times and enjoyed it quite a bit. It was sold to me as the closest I could get to a CC. I'm undecided as to whether or not that's true.
Truthfully I don't believe any other cigar other than a CC tastes like a CC. Nicaraguan tobacco is just plain different,....period. The blast of pepper you get with Nica tobacco is unique, and cubans will have less of that and be more creamier and earthy(mostly, but not all the time). Though some Tats may have some attributes about them that may seem cubanesque, I don't think they really match up IMHO.

I actually prefer Tats to many cubans. I will give cubans to friends to smoke when we get together, but if they ever try to go for my Tats I'll kill them!

I've had a couple brown label Regios and love them. Perfect ring gauge for me and it is O so smooth.

Try your typical favorite sizes in both lines, for sure. The Brown torpedo (Unicos) is an awesome cigar! That's the one I'd recommend to you first. Then, if you can find a J21, go for it if you like strong cigars!

Then, I'd strongly recommend stepping out of your usual zone and trying the Noella (brown corona) and the Victoria (red corona especiale). Both cigars have very concentrated flavors and are just awesome, and in the case of the Noella it's actually stronger than the larger vitolas! As with all small ring cigars, smoke them more slowly or they'll get bitter!!

If you find you don't mind small ring cigars after all, then you're in for a treat because Pete and Don Pepin makes some of the best in the world!

El Triunfador Lancero Especial (maduro)
El Truinfador #6 (lancero)
Tatuaje Especiales (brown lancero)
My Father Lancero
DPG Black 1977 (corona especial)

Just smoked a Tat 7th Reserve, and this stick was soooo tight. It was absolutely miserable. This was my second Tatuaje, the first being the Havana VI, which was great. I hope it was just a problem stick, but this tight 7th Reserve was awful. Anyone else have one like that?

I have has several of the 7th Reserve and had no issues. I love them and would give it another try. Cab RX Maduro is also a great smoke. Also La Ricky's are very nice!

IMO some of the best tasting tat's are smaller ring gauges. I hay the Havana Cazadores, Noellas, especiales, Cojonu 2009, Regios & 7th Reserva.

What can be said that hasn't already been said?

My top 5 Tats are 7th Reserva, Petite Cazadores Reserva, J21 Reserva, Cojonu '03, Regios.

Not a big fan of the reds...

Some of these have been said already, but my favorite tats of the moment:
Brown Label Tainos
Brown Label J21 Reserva
Red Label Nobles

I couldn't get into the Noellas, or the 7th Reserva, but just about everyone else seems to love 'em.
