First, thanks Pete. I was bummed when I heard it may not be.
Second, preorders have not always gone well based on the past releases. I suggest you pay close attention and take the day off when the stores are selected. It is not Pete's job to control the retailers or to hear everybody bitch about them. They (retailers) can do what they want with the stock when they get it. They paid for it. Pete did not give them to them. Some retailers immediately let people know that "locals come first". If you can get someone to "put you on the list", be thankful but don't get excited until you have the box in your greasy little hands.
I (personally) don't want to see the mahem of years past where Pete was bashed, then vendors were bashed, then Pete was bashed because of the vendors. It's really not a pretty sight nor would we want to portray ourselves as the types that would do such things.
One last note. The more you talk about it the more THE WORLD will know what you know and your odds of scoring a box drop significantly. So try to control your knowledge or suffer. We know everyone wants to be "the guy in the know", but posting secret passageways end up being highways when you post it.
