Greetings, fellow mutants.

I'm not sure why it's taken me so long to find this place, I've been around in various forums forever. But, be that as it may be, I'm pleased to make acquaintance of those of you who I've not known in the past and to those who already know me, well...here I am again (under a new and super-cool new screen name!)!

As I've indicated, I'm certainly no noob but I am new here so excuse me if I accidentally step outside the margins at first. I'll try to keep myself on the right side of the regs.

As I type this I'm smoking a Camacho Diploma with the natural wrapper, damn nice smoke. I tend towards full bodied cigars, like many, but have found over the years that there are many times I like to reach for a milder smoke - say, with coffee or tea in the morning - so I have learned to appreciate all ranges except those that fall into the "tasteless-burning-paper" range. Those are good for mulch and not much else, IMO.

Anyhow, that's all I'll bore you with for now. Glad to be here and we'll probably chat soon.

Spent my teen years in Hamburg! Nice to know there's so many of us.

Hey RW, cool to have another Bulldog on the site,

Hamburg was a great place to grow up and my twin still lives there. I spent my entire young adult life there and graduated from Fredonia. Moved to the desert in 1986 and could no longer deal with the cold again. Great place to visit in the summer though.

Thanks to everyone for the warm welcome. I see I'm not the only NY'er around here, I'm actually in the Rochester area. I've lived in this area, except for small stints on the road, since '67 and I'm beginning to finally get it through my thick head that his is not where I want to end my days. NYS is swirling the drain these days it seems and I' looking to head west in a few years.
