I have been on the fence for years about CC's. One of the first cigars I smoked was in Souda Bay Crete on deployment. It was a Cohiba of some sort and I remember it being awesome. Since then I have had several others but did not enjoy them at all. After seeing all the drama that ensues with htf nc's I decided to give this PSD4 a shot (thanks again Bob for the trade)
The cap has a salty/sour taste. And when I smell the cigar its different, light mostly cedar, I guess refined might come close to the right word.
Punched, lit with lotus table top lighter at 8:30
very light, hay, herbs (patchouli) cream soda, sugary sweet, slight caramel. aftertaste is salty. The salt is the dominant flavor in the aftertaste at this point, now I'm wondering if its something I ate. This cigar has a serious sweet vanilla scent and flavor to it, very cool. Burn is a little off but easily corrected. There is a more predominant element picking up now, for lack of a better term its dry and musky similar to spice but nothing like a Nic spice. At this point the ash is flaky, black, white and a little brownish. I'm really liking this cigar, it may be because of how much attention I am paying to it but there is a lot going on with this smoke. It tunneled and went out, relight and all is well.

I cant really explain the flavors other than sweet, and a different spice deal. Still having a hard time keeping this lit. But the flavor is pretty killer, the spice is becoming more predominant. This sounds gay but the sweetness is like bananas in a way. I am now telling myself wtf for not trying these sooner. It tastes like I'm at the beach with the bananas and cream deal, I'm really digging this cigar, aside from the burn issues. This was a very cool cigar, I may have f'ed myself by opening up a new door!
Finish 9:30

Beautiful cigars. Glad I could share one with you JNT, didn't realize you hadn't tried one yet. Let us know what you think when you get a chance to fire it up.

Great cigar. Bananas and cream... I'll have to pay a little more attention one my next one, as I don't exactly recall bananas and cream. Although after my last experience with bananas and cream, not sure I want to. Long story, but it was college... and I needed the money... and medication cleared it all up in the end...
