The that is your issue, you are smoking the wrong end :bigeyes:I punched mine and my botl cut his and the both did the same thing. I can not say I have ever lit the foot of a cigar.
Ditto!!!!I haven't smoked one in a couple of years, but about 5 years ago they were one of my go to cigars. At the time, it was one of the best constructed cigars I've ever had. Of course, there is the possibility there was something wrong with the cigars in that particular box. Storage, cracked wrappers, etc.
It depends how far gone they were...if they were extremely dried out, and then rehumidified at high humidity (you said 72%, right?) very quickly, the wrapper may have "contracted" amd expanded and might not be salvagable...but that would be the extreme for a newer cigar, it is certainly worth a try to see if they become more smokable. You know that is probably the most reasonable explanation i've heard. Thank you. I dont know if they were bad from the get go or if this is a normal problem. I think that is what I was seeking. But looks like I just got some crapy ones I have three more so we will see.
If they are truely dried out would keeping them in my humidor for a longer period of time help the thing not come undone? They dont taste bad they are good they are just unruly.
