I’ve heard of this, but have wondered how much alcohol could a tampon hold and still be inserted. Can’t be more than a shot, and how drunk can you get from 1 shot of vodka?


On a side note, in regards to Bob’s comment about getting someone to buy you beer. Just a few weeks back, I saw a guy get approached by a couple of kids. After a quick convo, he took a handful of money, and a list from them. He then promptly walked in the store across the front of the store and out the other door. I cracked up. The dude jacked those kids for their beer money.

Do they have to insert several or do they pull one out and insert another when the other goes "dry." I'm sure the toxic shock syndrome possibility could be high on this if the persons doing were to pass out and fall asleep and forget about a tampon being inside them. Sounds just gross to me.

Ah pharmacy knowledge time. This is the same idea as rectal administration. Bioavailability is not decreased due to first pass metabolism when absorbed through mucous membrane on that end... Hence the increased efficacy. This is the first I have heard of girls doing... vaginal shots? But I have heard of people "plugging" (ie. rectal dosing) alcohol, and other things, before for the same reason. Really, really risky stuff.

Yep, very dangerous. Usually, if someone is stupid enough to try this, they're probably going to be stupid enough to miscalculate how much to use. Since the alcohol doesn't get processed through the liver it goes straight to the bloodstream.
