Following in the footsteps of some of his contemporaries Pete Johnson, best known his Tatuaje line of cigars is teaming up with his brother Paul to create Johnson Brothers Cigars - My brother played drums in my band and has always been a cigar smoker and is now calibrating with me to blend Johnson Brothers Cigars. It is a departure from his current lines by using all Honduran tobacco. We have created a Honduran puro that will rival the best there is from any country says Johnson. The cigars are being rolled at Pepin Garcias factory in Esteli Nicaragua and at press time there was no retail pricing or quantities. The first cigar the Staccato a 6X49 ring gage set to debut at the RTDA show this July in Las Vegas. Paul and I named it the Staccato because its a punchy music note and these are punchy smokes. The Staccato will come in dress boxes of 24 with an estimated delivery date of 8/8/11.
